ACPPA Community Art Center, Norristown  www.acppa.net
This year Gabrielle’s Arts Foundation (GAF) has purchased the list of art supplies for their projects including: paints, brushes, clay, paper, canvas’, pastels and fabric to make costumes for ACPPA. As a matter of fact, we bought their whole wish list for them. The mission of the Community Art Center is to provide opportunities that use art as a vehicle of creative self-development and community revitalization. It is our hope that through the creative process, our students are able to envision a positive future for themselves and gain the tools necessary to build a pathway to that future. The students ages range from 4 to 13 and attend ACPPA for art after school and summer camp. We are pleased to support this foundation whose mission closely mirrors ours.

These students will be selected by the faculty of the art departments keeping in mind the mission of GAF. This money was raised through our annual concert at the “Social Lounge” in West Chester, PA.

St. Augustine Academy for Girls (SAA), Norristown    www.staugustineofhippo.org
Gabrielle’s Arts Foundation (GAF) has given funds to send a number of girls to the Wayne Art Center for the summer art camp. These third grade girls have little hope in their lives. We at GAF support the mission at St. Augustine Academy. Through your generous donations you are making a difference in these young girls lives through the arts.

Tyler School of Art   www.temple.edu/tyler
Joining forces with Tyler School of Art (TSA) and CHS, GAF is proud to sponsor a senior to experience TSA’s boot camp. CHS faculty select the student, supporting the mission of GAF. The student is immersed for two weeks spending time creating images for their portfolio that will distinguish them as an exceptional artist. They learn what admissions counselors look for in a portfolio and how to present themselves. This program helps to encourage and support an 11th grade art student to pursue their dream of art school.

Through the Wayne Art Center (WAC) we give two scholarships for freshman students at Conestoga High School (CHS). These students were selected by the faculty of the art department at CHS keeping in mind the mission of GAF. We are happy to report that the students are thrilled to be recipients and it helps propel them into a life of art.
